CTRC was formed through the merger of the Santa Clara Valley Railroad Association and the San Jose Trolley Corporation.

CTRC is a 501(c)(3) organization. (Number 94-2834764)

CTRC is the official support group for the Trolley Barn at History San Jose and the Santa Clara County Railroad Museum currently in the early stages of development,

The mission of the California Trolley and Railroad Corporation (CTRC) is to restore, preserve and interpret railroad, trolley, and related equipment as it was used to serve the people in Santa Clara Valley, California.
